How the Card Ranker Works

How does the ranking algorithm work?+

We multiply your monthly spending in each category by the card's rewards rate, then multiply by 12 to get annual earnings. We subtract the annual fee and add half the welcome bonus (amortized over two years) to get your true net annual value.

Where does the rewards data come from?+

We pull rewards rates directly from each card's official terms and conditions, then verify them in our editorial reviews. Rates are updated whenever issuers announce changes.

Why do you include the welcome bonus?+

Welcome bonuses can be worth hundreds of dollars. We spread the bonus value over two years so the ranking reflects both short-term gains and long-term ongoing value.

Can I trust these results for my situation?+

The ranker uses your actual spending numbers so the results are personalized to you. However, it doesn't factor in category spending caps, rotating categories, or card-specific perks like lounge access. Always read the full review before applying.

Is this tool free to use?+

Yes, completely free. 67.CREDIT earns revenue through affiliate links when you apply for a card, but our rankings are based entirely on math, not sponsorships.
